Palm oil company fined millions for burning Sumatran forest

The tragedy of the Palm Oil industry in Indonesia is highlighted again by the continual destruction of the valuable rain forests in Sumatra. The forests are the home of many endangered species including the Sumatran tiger, rhino, elephant and last but not least the gentle orangutan whose forest home is being burnt and destroyed by ruthless companies in the rush to gain more land for Palm oil plantations.
