Tadoba Andhari-March 2017

I returned to this interesting tiger reserve on the 17 March where I remained for eight days.  I enjoyed some wonderful wildlife sightings and managed to see nine different tigers .  Perhaps the highlight for me was time spent in the buffer zone.  In May of last year I had seen and photographed the tigress Madhuri and her four three month old cubs.  Ten months on, I was hoping to see if the cubs had survived-I was not to be disappointed.  Although I didn't see all four cubs, I did manage to see and photograph two of the female cubs which have now really grown into healthy young tigers.  The photograph above is of one of Madhuri's cubs.
