The tiger that walked 510km to find a new home

The four month long dispersal walk that started last August of a young male tiger from an area close to Chandrapur ended this month while entering the Satpura power station not far from his probable destination of Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.  Having been tranquisied the MP chief wildlife warden Shahbaz Ahmad advised that the tiger has been moved to an enclosure at Kanha while the future of rehabilitating the tiger is being considered while watching its behaviour.  More on this report can be read by following this link.
