A very worrying trend of increased tiger deaths in India.

 73 tiger deaths have been reported so far which means 10 deaths every month and majority being poached. The number is much high compared to 78 tiger mortality during the entire year in 2015.

"73 cases of tiger mortality have been reported by the states till date which inter alia include 21 cases of confirmed poaching including seizure, seven cases due to natural and other causes while 45 cases are under scrutiny," Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.  See link below to read the report in the Indian Express.
