India recorded over 100 tiger deaths last year

India lost over 100 tigers in 2020 due to various causes ranging from terrirorial fights, poacing, road accidents,and natural causes.  According to the National Tiger Conservation Authority, the apex body formed by the ministry of environment and forests to keep check on the status of big cats in India the number of tigers killed in 2020 was 106.
