Ranthambhore's icon tigress Machali at a water hole (Panthera tigris tigris)

During May 2014 I was fortunate to spend about 15 minutes photographing Machali. This wonderful tigress now in her 17th year appeared from her forest cover to drink at a waterhole. The photo shows Machali quenching her thirst with her refection in the water.
