Ruddy Kingfisher (Halcyon coromanda) see at The Sunderbans

While my boat was meandering along the waterways of The Sunderbans in West Bengal during my visit in February 2014 I caught sight of this beautifully coloued Kingfisher as it carefully studied the water below its perch for signs of a catch.
