Ranthambhore's well known tiger passes away.

A famous male tiger named Zalim T25 was found dead in Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan. He was the same tiger who reared two small orphan cubs. Hindustan TimesZalim will continue to be remembered for a rather heartwarming and rare act that he did - that of rearing orphan twin cubs of T-5 tigress who died in 2011. The two female cubs - around three-months-old at that time - named Bina -1 and Bina-2 were 'adopted by Zalim who kept all other animals away from them. Without Zalim's care and cover that ensured that the two had a 'parent' who ate along with them and even trained them for the wild, the cubs would not have survived. See link below to read more
